Being in the heart of Marbella and Puerto Banus the choice of things to do is vast.
Both Marbella and Puerto Banus are very good for shopping and people watching. Of course at the world famous marina at Puerto Banus and the beautiful Orange square in Old Town Marbella.The Old is very attractive for a stroll round or to have a drink or supper.
If you wish to play tennis there are 2 very good clubs within 5 mins drive, both of which have shale courts. Puente Romano has courts of international standard and is part of the famous hotel complex.
The other club is the Manuel Santana, which is owned by the Spanish tennis player who won Wimbledon in 1969.
For golfers there are too many golf courses to mention. You could play a different course every day. It certainly is a haven for golfers.
If your interest is walking, you can walk for miles along the Paseo Maritimo or be more energetic and roler blade or cycle along it. There is also beautiful walking in the mountains of the National Park behind Marbella. This is all within easy access. In 10 mins drive away you have the beautiful Sierra de Nieves mountains where you will find numerous traditional white washed villages to explore.
If you feel like a day trip there is Granada and the Alhambra, The Sierra Nevada ski slopes only 2.5 hours drive from the house and very easy to go to for the day.
The Moorish town of Ronda, Seville , Cordoba, Cadiz, Gibraltar and the windy coast around Tarifa where you can watch 100s of kite boarders, a fantastic sight. Why not also explore Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso and visit its newly opened Picasso museum.
All these suggestions are very manageable in a day.You can even go skiing for the day in the Sierra Nevada. Or what about a shopping trip to Morocco which is a 30 min ferry ride away from Tarifa. The possibilities are endless or of course you could just relax and sit in the sun!
